Decadent Saturdays At Pearl
A new innovation at the prestigious Pearl Restaurant & Bar (252 High Holborn, London, WC1V 7EN) - a series of Champagne and food tastings under the Decadent Saturdays moniker.
Imagine whiling away a Saturday evening enjoying several super-premium Champagnes alongside luxurious foods such as oysters, truffles and caviar. You will become the ultimate connoisseur. During these fun and informative events, Michael and Jun will share their knowledge and expertise on wine and food pairing, and guide and entertain you while you taste a selection of lavish foods matched with the finest Champagnes.
And when they say ‘finest champagnes’ they mean the likes of Cristal, Dom Perignon and Krug.
The first session is to be held on the 21st April with Champagne with Chocolate - Sample dark, milk and white chocolate with Jacquesson & Fils, Vauzelle Terme, Ay Grand Cru, Blanc de Noirs, 1996, Krug Rose NV and Laurent Perrier Brut Rose. A quite reasonable £80 per person.
The Champagne with Caviar is scheduled for the 2nd June and will see Osetra, Sevruga and Beluga Caviar with Louis Roederer Cristal 1999, Krug Brut 1990, and Dom Perignon 1998. £180 per person.
