Vineyards of Hampshire Wine Festival

Sunday 17th July 2016 12 – 4.30pm

This year the event will be hosted by Hattingley Valley Wines which is located at: Wield Yard, Lower Wield, Alresford, Hampshire, SO24 9AJ.

Vineyards of Hempshire posterAt the festival sample wine from each of the seven producers who collectively make Vineyards of Hampshire. There will also be the opportunity to taste delicious produce from other Hampshire Fare members. You will be able to meet the winemakers and learn about English wine as well as enjoy a guided tour of the winery.

This annual event will be from 12.00pm to 4.30pm on Sunday 17th July 2016. Please book in advance to secure your space (you won’t be sent a ticket but your name will added to our list of visitors). On arrival you will be given a complimentary tasting card and personal Vineyards of Hampshire tasting glass to enable you to sample the wines provided by each vineyard. A group of six award-winning English wine producers have joined forces to present the Vineyards of Hampshire Wine Festival which takes place on Sunday 13th July.Visitors will be able to taste some of Hampshire’s top sparkling and still wines in a relaxed, informal setting. Winemakers and other representatives from all of the vineyards involved – Cottonworth, Danebury Vineyards, Jenkyn Place, Hambledon, Hattingley Valley and Meonhill – will be on hand to talk about their wines and Simon Bladon, who lives on the estate and his daughter, Camilla, will be offering guided tours of the vineyards at Jenkyn Place and Hugh Liddell from Cottonworth will be doing a series of winemaking talks throughout the day, offering people an insight into the grape to glass process.
